The interesting thing about beginning anything is the prep
work questions. For example “What will
the blog be called?” I have spent many hours thinking about this and as a
result not moved forward with the writing because of a title. Today with the help of my sweetheart husband
and our children we bat many names around all having to mean something to me
the writer. With a name like Candy, one
must be careful. This name has evoked
many a comment from young men when I went to parties and night clubs to dance
with my girlfriends when I was younger. And
of course none of these focus on the essence of me or what I write about. Although my family and friends have said I am
nice and sweet, I also am quite out spoken on issues that mean most to me. So
we went around throwing out words that have something to do with me.
CandyDelight, CandyCane, Candycorn, Candysizzle,Candytreat, Sweet candy, all of which make me gag, leave “Candy”
out of it I said! Just one more Mom, “Hard
Candy” and your motto can be “Suck on this!”
