Our Human Super Power: Choice!

Recently, I read the title of an article I did not read in its entirety because I knew it to be true.

An article for U.S. Americans, as you can tell…easier to apply this if you live in a free country:

~Article title~ "Studies have shown that as people age, it is common to shrink their circle of concerns and focus on immediate, manageable, and highly personal matters."

Listed as important are health and independence. Social circles shrink to spend time with a smaller group of close friends who appreciate you (and you them) rather than chasing new acquaintances or a "good time party." Older adults develop greater emotional resilience and a more positive mindset, letting go of trivial concerns to focus on appreciating life and close relationships. ~End of the article: my cliff note of it~

Thanks to technology, we are seeing the problems of every human-made system worldwide, as well as the "INDIVIDUALS" responsible for originating such corruption. As you get older, you notice that destructive control is maintained through the silencing of people's opinions and the withholding of the whole truth about any subject. Defenseless people and animals must be protected from physical violence by those who have the law on their side to protect and defend the innocent. Boundaries are necessary to have peace.

Now, once you understand this important concept, kind-hearted, honest people, who are the majority, are NOT causing the major problems, AI will not be able to fool you as much. As history proves, every younger generation is better equipped socially and economically to seek the truth and have the courage to voice it for positive change. This new generation is no different; I believe they will choose their Superpower of Critical Thinking to bring "Harmony" upon nations.

LOVE to LAUGH Every Day!

The February 14th day to celebrate love: what I know for sure is that there is more laughter in LOVE.

A baby's laugh is infectious; we laugh out loud and smile every time.

We watch "Bibi" the monkey on YouTube, and we laugh and smile at the adorable monkey's antics.

When a gorilla at the zoo copies human movements, it makes us laugh and smile.

If a baby goat begins hopping frantically from the back to the back of another goat, we laugh and smile.

When we see a whale breach the ocean surface, we clap with amazement of nature and smile.

When we eat a strawberry dipped in dark chocolate, we enjoy silently inside and smile.

When my husband gives me a handful of wildflowers after mowing, I smile.

Whenever I need a break from this world, I turn to laughter to remind myself that life is fun.

A great way to start your day: watch "Wildz PAWZ," where rescue dogs pick their master.

That will make you laugh, smile, and cry tears of joy! Enjoy your life, it is brief.

*Thank you for helping Lia & Marrten reach their goal, they are back working on their land.

Happy New Year! Happy People Help Where They Can!

In this wonderful time of exciting changes, life is good.

There is a sweet family in Portugal I have followed for about five years. They have endeavored to live off-grid in a sustainable lifestyle that protects the earth. Leah has shared many home-spun recipes that I have tried over the years, and in fact, I successfully made my first batch of sun-dried tomatoes with her recipe. Maartin, her husband, works tirelessly to clear the land, save the trees, and find groundwater for the crops they grow and their family. The environmental farming methods the two know are great for learning how to be self-sufficient on their land.

We've watched as they added another child to their little family and taught them how to garden. The patience and kindness both parents show to their children while teaching them to live with the land are remarkable to see. Parents who put their children first and teach them how to live are something I imagine many American parents would like.

The mention of them is simple. If not for their YouTube channel, we would know nothing about their current needs due to the hurricane. So instead of my usual blog, I ask that you donate to their GoFundMe account; it would help them greatly. They have lost everything they worked so diligently to build over the years.

Here is her blog to explain their dire situation. If you can donate a dollar, it will help. Thank you for being so kind.

Happy New Year of giving to those in need. *Remember, give of your abundance, not your need.
